The Centre at Arbor Connection

The Centre @ Arbor Connection is an elegant venue located in Douglasville, GA 20 miles west of Atlanta. The Centre features a beautiful courtyard for photos along with four beautifully decorated ballrooms that will accommodate anywhere from 10 to 400 guests for your special event.


The Centre was opened by Sam and Rosco from the acclaimed Sam and Rosco’s Restaurant and Catering Company in 2007. Sam and Rosco’s Restaurant and Catering has been providing great meals and memories since 1987, and The Centre at Arbor Connection continues this great tradition of gourmet food, and outstanding food services. There isn’t an idea too extravagant, a concept too lavish, or an event too elegant for The Centre. FAQ

Does The Centre have a facility director?

Yes, The Centre has a facility director that will assist you with your event. The Director will be at your service on your date to ensure that your event will run smoothly from beginning to end.

Can I bring my own caterer to The Centre?

The Centre is owned by the award winning Sam and Rosco’s Restaurant and Catering who will supply all your catering needs, thus no other caterers are permitted. Sam and Rosco’s celebrated the 25th anniversary of their restaurant in February 2012 and have won numerous awards for quality of food, service and presentation.

Does The Centre allow outside alcoholic beverages?

The Centre has all necessary local and state permits to serve and sell alcoholic beverages. Therefore, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Can I taste the food before I decide on a menu?

We do offer food tastings for up to four guests, which may be scheduled two months prior to your event. You can choose up to three entrees you are specifically interested in serving on your special day (some meat selections including Prime Rib and Slow Roasted Pork Loin may not be available for tasting. We do not provide tasting of Hors D’oeuvres or Salads).

We cannot schedule a tasting until a client has committed to The Centre with a signed contract and deposit. If you would like to taste the food before signing a contract there will be a $50.00 service fee on the tasting for up to four guests. Once you have signed the contract, the $50.00 service fee will go towards your final bill.

Can I do my ceremony at The Centre?

Yes, we will be happy to assist you with holding your ceremony, regardless of age, sex, race, color, ethnicity, or any other reason at The Centre. For details and fees, please consult with our in-house director.

Do you offer outdoor space for ceremony or reception?

We do offer a beautifully landscaped courtyard for photos and memories. This area is not designed for outdoor ceremonies or receptions.

What is the maximum capacity at The Centre?

The Centre can accommodate up to 400 guests for a formal seated event. For semi-formal and social functions this number can increase to 500 guests. Utilizing a combination of our largest ballrooms, The Centre can also hold up to 600 guests for theatre style events.

Is there a bride’s room?

A comfortable, spacious and private bridal dressing area is available. These exquisite green rooms are also available for corporate or social events, upon request.

What does your reception pricing include?

Our all-inclusive reception pricing includes; Seven hour time block (two hours for vendor set-up, four hours of reception time and one hour of vendor breakdown and clean up), dinner ware, tables, chairs, standard linens, standard centerpieces, dance floor, food service (please refer to your contract), beverage services (please refer to your contract), cleanup, taxes, and service charges for staffing.

What is needed to reserve my date?

To hold a date, we require a portion of your total contract as a non-refundable deposit. Based on your contract, we will require a specific payment schedule.

What is a payment schedule?

All of our clients will be placed on a payment schedule.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the event date.
  • Based on total contract value and how far in advance a date is booked, we will determine a monthly schedule of payment.
  • Final payment will be due 30 days prior to your event date.
Does The Centre have a preferred vendor list?

Yes, we provide a list of professional vendors that we have worked with over the years. We are happy to supply this upon request.

Do I have to use your vendors?

You are welcome to bring you own vendors. However, please be advised that all food (except for cake) and beverage has to be provided by The Centre.
